Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

"The room was fantastic for my friend and I. We each had a twin sized bed, but it was decently sized, not cramped at all. The location was fantastic, right next to the station and it wasn't far to go to all the big places in Tokyo we wanted to go to. Also, the in room massage was AMAZING! It's amazing how they can come right up to your room so we didn't have to go anywhere. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it (get the oils). The Chinese restaurant was good, the menu was a bit different, but I found something basic enough to get (some of it was too adventurous). The Midtown BBQ, Starbucks is RIGHT next door as well, so matcha/breakfast/lunch was easy to access. I will be staying here again, but this time with my family! 10/10."

The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome

"Just returned from a 10 day trip to Japan and spent our last night at the Royal Park Shiodome. It was the perfect place to spend our last night. The views from the hotel are incredible so get a room on as high of a floor as possible (we were on 31 and had a great view of the city—specifically, the Shiodome and Minato districts with the canal running through). It’s also in a very convenient location and within walking distance of several trains. 8-9 min walk to Gion and also a 24-hour Don Quijote. :) Family Mart and 7-Eleven are both conveniently a block or two away. It’s a well maintained property and we thought the room was more spacious than your average Tokyo hotel rooms. Very clean too. My only negative was the service at the bar was unprofessional. We sat down around 10:45 to have a drink because the bar doesn’t close until midnight and we wanted to enjoy a drink on our last night while looking at the beautiful views. The staff clearly wanted to close early and kept trying to rush us out, including trying to take a half-full drink we just paid $24 for. There was also a typhoon expected overnight but not a single staff member at the hotel seemed to have any idea about it (or much else)—it was very strange. At a nicer hotel, staff shouldn’t seem so dumbfounded at every single question, including how to get to the airport. Overall though, it’s a great property and we had a nice stay!"
APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi

"This hotel offers the best bang for the buck in Tokyo. Roppongi is one of the most central areas in town. Close to several Train stations nearby, numerous attractions everywhere, all easily accessible. Incredible food and nightlife. This hotel provides the ease of access with unique features like the swimming pool and spa. I have stayed here several times over the years."

"Beautiful city and river views, a rooftop pool, relaxing baths and service that made the whole stay feel special. APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower delivered—and I paid around $100 a night. For comfort, amenities and value, this was one of my best hotel stays anywhere. Highly recommended!"
