“Quiet with a nice garden area to explore. Food was good.”

“We traveled as two couples. The hotel was lovely, situated across from a beautiful loch. The lobby had plenty of places to sit and enjoy a chat and beverage. The bar was nicely stocked and our evening meal was delicious. The chef had only enough scallops for one person and they saved them for my husband! The beds are comfortable and rooms had beverages for us to relax with during our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“Room had no window. Breakfast didn’t start until 8:30 - too late for me. Staff were friendly though”

“Absolutely perfect I slept so soundly comfortably bed lovely bathroom and surrounding area like being in a national park Would definitely return”

“The Melfort House is a beautiful and well-maintained home. The rooms are cozy and charming and the staff was helpful. I was the only one there, so it was very quiet! Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order. It is a fair piece from town, which I did not realize, but the GPS took me right to the front door.”

“Friendly hosts, good location, large room recently decorated and very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with one table having lovely view of bay.”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights and had a lovely time. Very quiet, comfortable room with a lovely view. Hotel in a great location. Would stay again.”

“The property was in a beautiful location. I love that patio that our room has. Carol was great at running her bed-and-breakfast. And her breakfasts were delicious. She was kind, helpful, and efficient.”
