"The hotel was clean and comfortable the furniture was new and in good condition, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and functional. The member of staff was very welcoming and chatty. It’s an old building and characters are being maintained within it. For what we saw about the town it was good value for money. Very central."

"If you love whisky or not this is the place to stay. The outside appearance does not do this accommodation justice. A very clean and comfortable room, if small ( we were in room 7). The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar staff have excellent whisky knowledge. The bar food was also very good. We would definitely stay again."
