"Très bel hébergement! Il manquait peut être un peu de vaisselle pour cuisiner. De plus l’annonce indiquait pour 6 personnes mais n’avais de la place que pour 5 personnes (par chance nous étions que 5). Mise a part ces petits détails tout était parfait. "The location of the hotel on a bluff above Lake Toya gives guest an incredible view of the lake and adds to a feeling of quiet and luxury. Excellent service, along with beautiful rooms and dining (breakfast included with the dinner an option) are further enhanced by an open bar lounge and free shuttle to the lake shore for fire works. Excellent place to stay!"

"An older property with some quirks, but the location is ideal, and the staff wonderful! The in-room mini onsen a gift after a day of skiing. A close walk to all the fun restaurants and shops of Hirafu, and the ski in/ out access is ideal. Shout out to the front desk team who answered all questions and helped us book a car at the last minute when uber flaked."

"This seasoned hotel turned out very satisfying to me. Though at one end of the beach park, it boasts a great view, with access to spacious beach front. Just as the picture of its exterior onsen spa shows, you can see the mountain at the far end of the lake. Also the check-in time is not as restrictive as some online review complained (before 6pm) so more flexible for a busy travel schedule. The staff is courteous and responsive to guests' need when they observe it. The only challenge for guests is, lack of Japanese language skills may restrict their communication with the staff. But this creates a real motivation for repeating guests to pick up some common tourist Japanese. And another possible annoyance is the residue smoke smell, if you are really sensitive which I am luckily not. So in short, I would love to stay in this hotel in my next visit to Lake Toya."
