“Beautiful historic building, very clean and comfortable. The Presidential Suite is perfect for a family (4 adults, 3-4 kids). Big kitchen and dining area. The front rooms can get noisy at night so just bring a travel white noise machine if you're sound sensitive. Easy morning walk to Alma Cafe for breakfast and Cristobal Castle. Longer walk to market, San Juan gate, museums and the big fort. Only minor complaint was they don't actually provide a late checkout option, which we didn't know until...

“Staff was good and the room was cleaned. It was at times extremely cold with no extra blankets available, so just turn off the air conditioner and you will be alright, at least that worked for me. The TV was not working and the WIFI, at least during my stay, was terrible, but I was prepared and I was able to keep me entertain myself with my cell phone and some downloaded program in my IPad. “we reserved a room online for the Dream hotel but when we got there at night we got rejected because they told us they were full however when we went online they took our money with our reservation. They showed us a scam copy claiming that they did not did not take the money however when we check their bank statements it showed that they did. This part of the island has a lot of personality, from the animals walking around the resort to the ocean walking distance away to the staff making you feel like apart of the family! Pool side bar was a wonderful place to wind down before we flew out and the most amazing food!”
