"We recently stayed at this hotel in Philadelphia. The location is definitely a plus — it’s conveniently situated and made it easy for us to get around the city. That said, the hotel itself feels a bit run down and could use some updates. Self-parking is $45 per day and located around the corner from the hotel, which wasn’t ideal when it came to hauling luggage back and forth. It wasn’t the most convenient setup, but we made it work. We were also a little disappointed with our view, as our room faced another building rather than offering the nicer downtown skyline views we were hoping for. Overall, the location is great, but there are a few areas where the experience could be improved."

"It’s an interesting concept of no front desk and code entry. The room we stayed in was beautiful! It seemed that every little detail from old books, to neatly styled pillows transformed us to a different era- which was fabulous and made the experience even more wow! Loved the water dispensary and it did seem that that the stuff thought of absolutely everything! The room had tea treats and bathroom products smelled so nice = both supported small women owned businesses - nice touch :) My only complaint was that as everything in the room was spotless - they forgot to vacuum and wash floor underneath the bed - it had a thick layer of dust - and I’m allergic to dust - so I kept sneezing🙈 didn’t even realize it until check out time when my mom dropped something on the floor and it rolled underneath the bed. Central location, some what steep stairs - no elevator- so just be thoughtful of a well kept, but old building noises. "

"The good: bed was comfy. Room was clean. Location was perfect for the trip. Suites were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value. The bad: shower plumbing was bizarre and there was insufficient hot water pressure. Hotel lobby was undergoing a complete renovation so a cramped alternate space was used - they sent multiple emails but failed to mention that. The only grab and go food was from a basic candy/snack vending machine. "

"Pros: The hotel is in a very central location and convenient! Breakfast was delicious and they have a decent spread. Scrambled eggs, turkey and chicken sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Room was very clean and bathroom was modern! Potential cons: Room was small and there wasn't ample lighting. Even with all the lights on, it was quite dim in there. The bathroom was a decent size but the bathroom sink was tiny. Even though everything looked clean the lobby and hallways have a musty smell, which can be unpleasant. Valet parking is $70 overnight but there are nearby parking lots that are around $40."
