"Fun"

"Not a beautiful hotel, by any measure, but it was clean and it was quiet enough. You get what you pay for, and you won't pay much here. One thing they could do to get more repeat business would be to get some nicer fitted sheets. The one in my room didn't, er, fit, actually and was a nightly annoyance."

"For the price, the stay was excellent. Staff was very kind and the breakfast was good. I had teenage boys with me and there was a basketball court they used, plus a small pond. They were wishing they had their fishing poles. Lol. Perfect place for families!"

"Lovely property. Clean, quiet and responsive. They went above and beyond when the keys got locked in the car at our departure and they swiftly helped us solve it so we didn’t miss our flight. When I am in the area again, this will be my go-to place. "

"The room was clean, although carpet and parquet flooring was worn and should be replaced. Lots of unpleasant smells, including the lobby, the upstairs halls, and the room. A mildewy smell, masked by a large amount of perfume in the lobby. The source of these smells needs to be determined, and remedial measures taken, rather than cover it up. Breakfast bar was a ghost town at 15 minutes before closing (9:15am), with several hot items depleted and not restocked. Staff was friendly. Rate was competitive."

"The rooms on the website seem okay. But they are dated and stuffy. There is a cleaning lady in the morning, then you need to ask the host for the restaurant to check you in or operate the elevator. There is only a box fan for ventilation. Parking is an issue. There is no night clerk after the restaurant closes there is no staff at all. There is hot water it just takes 25 minutes to get to the shower head. Second night in the hotel a 4' long slab of plaster feel from the ceiling at 4:15 am. Maybe if you drink a lot in the bar the room is convenient for sleeping it off. I would not otherwise recommend going to this hotel. It is a neat old building though. "
