"We absolutely love the Shilo Inn and where it’s located. However whomever is owner/manager needs to update the rooms and building over all. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Security doors not working. Restaurant not being open. Update update update it please to make it worth the money we are charged. "

"We had a great stay. The property is dated but clean as a whistle with incredible views of the lake from every room and amazing hikes within steps of the hotel. Sadly it rained while we were there but the bonus was that the waterfalls around the lake were magnificent. These trails are other worldly and the ones we did were not long or difficult. "

Rooms are large, there was plenty of room to park our travel trailer, there's an excellent (though pricy) restaurant on the grounds. Well-worn quality to everything, but relaxed, comfortable, and clean in ways that really matter. Odorless. Staff were very straightforward. "

"A nice hotel with free parking, mini-fridge, microwave, and friendly staff. Good water pressure for the shower and plenty of hot water. Nice fluffy towels that weren’t thin & threadbare. The A/C and the thermostat for it worked fine. No burned out light bulbs. Big TV with directtv. Definitely a place I would return to."

"Spacious and nice staff! Minor complaints that the main room TV didn’t have all the channels where the bedroom TV did, and that we got a kitchenette but there was no cutlery/glasses, but we made do."
