“Location, location, location. What this hotel lacks in on-site amenities or upgrades, it makes up for 5X in the location. Other than getting a rental home, this hotel is the best location you can get with proximity to the beach, as well as proximity to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. “The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. In a world where hospitality sometimes seems an abandoned concept, every associate we encountered was utterly delightful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar and even a kitchen crew member on her way home after her shift raved about her employer, unprompted and aglow with sincerity. “Very comfortable beds. The breakfast included a very nice selection of hot food items, assorted breads,fruit, and cereal. The only down side is the parking but that is to be expected in downtown Fernandina.”

“The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful.
