"Hotel Excelsior splendid is an older hotel that is in good shape however the rooms are somewhat dated. Breakfast was good however it was somewhat spoiled by the large amount of flies. It is right on all of the piers, one minute and any of the piers there are other hotels in the area, one of them an expensive, five star hotel, also there is a hotel that has been abandoned next to the facility. "The resort was lovely looking out over the lake. Convenient easy walk to the ferry to visit any towns on the lake. Great restaurant on the property and the breakfast was outstanding with everything you could imagine wanting to be offered. Laundry facilities at the property were very convenient. Room was very comfortable and the view of the lake was fantastic."

"It's opposite to train stain station, and 15 minutes from the ferry.breakfast all good, coffee tasty. Price wise you get exactly what paid for.Room small, beds comfy, pillows comfy. Only downside was the smell from bathroom, but i think it's all to do with sewerage problems overall in area. Dorr closed - problem solved👍 Would comeback. Workers great."

"This family-owned hotel was exceptionally clean. The pictures are exactly what you get. (It is time to replace the beds) The bathrooms are updated and extremely clean as are the rooms. The location was great for taking the ferries. Breakfast everyday was good. Owners were very helpful when giving advice as to where to go/eat/shop. "

"This property was gorgeous. The views are amazing. The staff was very nice. They have a restaurant overlooking Lake Como that is spectacular. Dinner, wine and breakfast were lovely.
