"Pricing was high. Room was comfortable but you need signage for housekeeping! On the first day, a man walked in on me saying the room showed as unoccupied, and on subsequent days there were loud knocks all down the hall with people yelling HOUSEKEEPING. Also, the sink drain was very slow to drain. I think somebody might have vomited in the sink previously. The staff was really wonderful though "

"We loved this hotel, very elegant, lovely staff, the decor was everything you could want for an historic Texas hotel. The bar/restaurant was also great - good live music and lively atmosphere. The only complaint we had was that the pillows were too soft and not good quality and even upon request we were not able to exchange them for quality ones. "
