“Dinner was fabulous, beds comfy and pet friendly. Rooms were nicely decorated and the sauna in the room was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

The local pub in this beautiful and ancient town was situated in the hotel itself. Perfect for having a well deserved pint! Restaurant was excellent! Same goes for breakfast in the morning.”

“This hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The room was a bit warm with no AC and it was unusual that the lobby area closed at 10:30 pm as it would have been a nice place to sit and have a drink or play cards. Everything else was great!!”

“Lovely two night stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel. Staff were welcoming and cheery. Spa treatments were incredible and I have never felt so relaxed! Food was lovely, perhaps slightly expensive but just my own opinion. Didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities like the pool etc but wish I had as it looked like a beautiful space. “Very run down. Poorly maintained structure. Evidence of water leaks in the bedroom and bathroom which had a strong smell of damp and long term cigarette smoke. One Bedroom window was nailed closed, no ventilation and although electric fans were provided, they only circulated warm air. Doors banging throughout the night disrupting sleep. Shower was a drip hose. Altogether a very bad experience which I would not recommend. This hotel is by far the most rundown place that we have ever stayed....

When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar.
