“We have stayed at the Abbey once previously and were greeted on our arrival by 'welcome back'. Always nice to be remembered. We stayed in a different room this time which was more of an apartment with a bedroom and sitting room. Shower and toilet room was very good. The staff are very polite and cheerful. “Upon arrival we had to contact a mobile number for dome one to attend. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty, the staff were very attentive, nothing was an issue. Its a shame the pub and restaurant was closed due to an issue but it was well worth staying. We would come back when the pub and restaurant are open. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“A lovely location and great facilities. Great staff and bar area had a lovely atmosphere. Morning breakfast was delicious with attentive staff. Rooms were very quiet, hotel had a lift which is very convent as the steps are steep to the 2nd floor. The rooms are a little tired and the bathroom window privacy screening is in desperate need of replacement. Kettle is completely scaled up and cups were also dirty so this needs to be addressed.
