“Staff were great, room was overall lovely and clean but coffee and kettle was dusty and few bits in the room that was a little run down hence the 4 stars.”

“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”

“Our room was clean, warm and well-lit. We had selected a superior twin, but the view from the room was dreadful ! We were next to the boiler and there was ducting all over, rubbish and the exterior of the building at the back is very shabby. Just to note - there are no usb sockets in the room, so you need to bring your own adapter. There is also no phone - I suppose because everyone has their own these days. “Great location for walking to Cowes centre and for the chain ferry to East Cowes. Comfortable room although very hot and impossible to turn the one radiator (in bedroom) off. Decent breakfast although some of the cooked items could have been hotter. Overall I would recommend and be happy to stay again. ”

“Hotel needs a big revamp. When arriving the room smelled very clean, but I had a pillow with stains on. There were hair shavings by the sink and in the shower. The remote for tv was sticky. We stayed 2 adults and 1 child. The walls are so thin, we had people stay in the room next to us who made noise till 4am so I barely slept. The next day the whole floor stank of weed. The pool also needs a big revamp, we weren't aware the pool is in a different building. Wouldn't stay again.”

“Our cruise ended in Southampton and stayed one night before our journey to London. Staff was awesome storing our luggage so we could explore the city prior to check in. Fantastic breakfast next morning. Would stay again”
