โA fabulous place to stay within walking distance of everywhere you would want to visit in York. A very comfy room and one of the best cooked breakfasts youโll find anywhere. Weโll definitely stay again on our next visit.โ

โThe hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. โ
โGetting a room for 3 is not always easy. We had two lovely rooms for 3 which my grandson loved as he didnโt have to share with his sister and Nana! Modern bathroom with walk in shower with good quality toiletries. โ
โCashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !
