“A very nicely kept hotel in Estes. It came highly regarded and it was as advertised! Everything was clean and well-maintained. TV is Direct TV with many channels. Daily room cleaning service with lots of fluffy towels. Breakfast was plentiful and well organized. Good location just east of the downtown area on Hwy 34. There were even elk rattling antlers in the backyard! I highly recommend.”

“The breakfast area was not organized in an efficient manor. Guests were constantly moving around the area to get out of each others way.”

“We had room B50 reserved for a week. The room is huge and very nice & comfortable. Very quiet & close to town. Staff were and friendly and helpful. We had a family emergency and had to cancel our last 2 days. The management was extreemly compassionate and helpful. I highly recommend Appenzell.”

“We booked a 5 night stay. Housekeeping was in the room once - the night before we left. We had to go to the front desk every day for clean towels. Trash was overflowing. Bathroom fan didn't work. Shower door frame so short, 6'2" man had to duck to get in/out. Shower head had very little pressure. Took forever to rinse out shampoo. Electrical wall outlet by bed not work. Not enough outlets in room to charge 3 phones by bedside. Not ADA compliant big issue and not advertised...

“Clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked rooms. Extremely close to RMNP, which helped us enter the park promptly due to the timed entry requirement at RMNP. We loved the fact that the bathroom has a separate temperature control from the bedroom’s. Staff were kind. We look forward to staying here again in our next trip to RMNP.”

“Good bang for the buck. Quiet despite being right on the road out of town”

“Exceptional location. We were visiting RMNP and it was mere minutes from the park gate. There is an incredible restaurant within walking distance. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was that the walls & ceiling were very thin. We could hear all of our neighbors.”
