The Home Arms Guesthouse

The Home Arms Guesthouse

10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely, friendly place immediately opposite the harbour front. Although there is no reception, access to the property was straight forward. Our room had an ensuite and huge bed! There were tea/coffee making facilities. No need to bring a hairdryer as there is one provided. Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of continental or cooked (or both); the cooked breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. There was free parking in the public car park immediately opposite the property. Overall, I would recommend this as a property to stay at as a base for exploring the area; we stayed for 3 nights."

"This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here. The staff are amazing, very friendly. The food is great with a good choice. Breakfast is included in the price and is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel. The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. They are also dog friendly. I will definitely be staying there again."

Marshall Meadows Manor House

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! As we’d eaten prior to arriving, the snacks and drinks - both alcoholic and soft were just enough to keep us satisfied until our good night’s sleep. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and served in the hotel’s restaurant. This was a good choice for an overnight stay, especially in a premier room."

"Upgraded our room once the error in booking was realised. Good breakfast and dining areas. Clean and tidy. We were the only family there I feel amongst the golfers, which was expected but felt welcome nonetheless. We sea/dunes/golf course view from our room."

The Linton Hotel

The Linton Hotel

8/10 Good
"Small hotel ( essentially rooms above the bar and restaurant) in a pretty East Lothian village. Easy on-street parking, straightforward check-in , decent size room. Amenities are a little basic and I was frustrated that the shower in my room had very low water flow. Nice to have a cooked breakfast available every day. I didn't eat in the evening but the dinner menu looked tempting and good value."
