"Purbeck house hotel is right in the town and close to everything. However, once inside and in the gardens, it is so tranquil, a perfect stay. Staff so helpful and friendly and meet requests and enquiries with a smile. Room was comfortable and clean and all you need for a stay. Varied continental breakfast, perfect. "We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be."

"Lovely new/refurbished room, great friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great pub grub for evening meals. A couple of minor moans - drinks were quite pricey and the the pub is located several miles from Poole/Bournemouth so not ideal just for a night out. However, it is in a good central position for possibly exploring further afield to Swanage, Corfe Castle and beyond. "

"Beautiful hotel/pub with a great location near the beach. The room was comfortable with all amenities and some lovely personal touches (the toiletries were excellent and the homemade chocolate treats were, well, a treat!) The food in the pub was also great. Will stay again!"

Room was cosy with a little sofa, wifi was fast and TV was operating as it should. Bathroom and the room were clean. Air con worked with no issues. Would definitely recommend."
