“This is a fantastic place for families. Our kids had a blast at the water park - age 10&11. Very quiet place at night. Awesome breakfast with lots of options. We only stayed one night. We’ll visit again.”

“Charging a 3% credit card fee on a hotel room transaction is outrageous. It is listed as a convenience fee. Cost over $32 to use credit card upon checkout.”

“We have v enjoyed Madden’s Resort for years but this time was not anywhere near the Madden’s standards. The air quality in the Steamboat Buildings is terrible. The smell was even present in the bath towels. The smell was like the inside of an old cabinet that resembles cat urine. We slept with the deck door open and listened to the gentleman on the next door deck, snoring like the ocean surf on a blustery day. Either maintain it or don’t offer it. Sorry, but that’s the truth.”

“Check in time was 3pm we got there at 2:20 and the guy said give him 20 minutes so we went and got lunch so got back around 3:20pm and the room still wasn't ready we got in finally around 4pm we cranked up the air and left to go fishing and returned around 9:30pm and the room had a gross ceptic sewer smell and was not cool at all so after complaining about the hot room he put us in another room after 10pm. We would like a rebate or money back for hell we went through.”

“We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel area. The lake view is great, the room was clean, the food was very good, and the wait staff were friendly and punctual. If you bring a boat and rent a slip, make sure to bring bumpers. The ones on the dock can be crooked or even the pads are missing. This isn't a real big deal but for $50 a day, I think someone could check them and straighten or replace. I asked one of the employees how we get rid of our trash and they said just throw it outside the...

“This is a timeshare place that’s on breezy point property. We did not realize that. It was like a blast from the past! Very early 90s feeling style/furniture wise. There were some stains on the carpets, the towels are old, no toiletries provided, mis matched and lacking cookware, etc.It is definitely not where you want to stay if you want a modern place.
