“The staff and service were excellent. My main problem was I kept hitting my head on the slopping ceiling when using the bathroom. Food was good but the Chicken Curry on the first night contained very little Chicken. However the Lamb and Pork dishes were excellent. I also enjoyed the Proper Job IPA reduced alcohol on draught. Overall a relaxing holiday for my wife and I. We will be back.”

“The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. “Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control.
