“Beautiful place! Excellent staff! From the bellman to the housekeeper, the service was excellent. Special shout outs to Jesus at check in, Jesus the waiter, Darlene, Gabriel, Alexander, and Carolina at the spa, Miguel and Maria with entertainment, Basilio, Erika, and many many more bar tenders and wait staff…all were so hospitable it made our stay excellent! We loved the Michael Jackson/ Freddie Mercury show on Tuesday night. Maintenance was quick to respond to the couple issues we had. Only...

“Our room cleaning service was impeccable...our cleaning lady Francesca is a credit to her profession and an absolute doll! Every employee we interacted with were exceptional...from our Butler Henry who was so incredibly attentative, helpful, and professional, to our dining servers Jesus and Aleandro to name a few that made us feel welcome and special every single day. Lastly...when you have a swim up bar...the service can be dicey, but when it is being provided by Leandro, he is second to none!...

“Favorite resort in Punta Cana. Short drive there, great food, well maintained. Been to 6 other resorts and Joia is the best for us. Average age is probably 50, but we like that. No stupid stuff by the pool ruining the vibe, people have respect for other travelers. Nice change from other less laidback resorts. Not for the 21-35 crowd. ”

“Honestly this place is the worst place I've been to. You have to wait more than an hour to check-in and once you get to your room, you also have to wait for your luggage to arrive, which took more than an hour. We are sitting there just wasting our time. The staffs are so eager for tips, and their facial expression will change according to the amount of the tip. Do not get a massage or a spa in this hotel. it's not worth it. I couldn't get out of this hotel fast enough. I would never visit...

“Hotel is smashing. Very beautiful architecture. Great butler service to attend every needs in great details. Terrace of ocean view in Castle is delightful. Food in Steakhouse is highly recommended. Andalusian style bar is beautiful w sometimes live music. Service is amazing despite many gusts. Special thanks to my butler Camacho who helped us above and beyond.
