“Because it is a very old building the floor in the room was higher at one end than the other and the walls were paper thin and I could hear people in the next room. The staff was friendly but there was only day-old tepid coffee available in the reception area before 8 a.m.
There is no thermostat in the room and it was so hot I had to have the window open all night.”

“Absolutely wonderful resort. We stayed in the Boreas Pass Suite. The room was far more spacious and modern than expected with a huge, private deck that backed to the river (the entire resort is so well kept and manicured). The Snowmelt/Spa area was such a bonus and we had the Steam Sauna, Dry Sauna and Cold plunge all to ourselves, even on the busiest leaf-peeping weekend of the season (Friday, 9/25). They even had suits we could borrow as the Spa, so unexpected. The virtual front office staff...

“WOW! Look no further for the perfect friends/couple/or family getaway. We used it for a weekend trip away from Denver to explore Garden of the Gods, 11 Mile, and the Dream Stream. One day we stayed at camp all day, snuggled in the oh so comfy beds and playing games by the fire. We enjoyed exploring locally (hiking, fishing galore), and coming back for amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner choices (all included!). Our french bulldog was a welcome addition, and we all enjoyed zipping around the...

“My wife and her sister thought the property was “super cute”. It is a unique and beautiful house that is very quiet with almost no traffic on the road and no other properties within shouting distance. The Treehouse is in a wooded area that is pleasant and a short walk up to the ridge has amazing views especially at sunset. It is perfect for a family that wants to go camping and have all the amenities but doesn’t want to invest in all the equipment or an RV.
There were a few things that...
