“I did not like the fact that we were limited to 1/2 of glass inexpensive champagne when we arrived, considering the price of the room. Poor hospitality.”

“This was a very cute, quaint inn and we would definitely book again. A bit disappointed that the restaurant doesn’t run regularly, the outside fire pit wasn’t going, and the signal was very bad when we went to watch TV at night. However, the clawfoot tub was very nice and the place was only 15 minutes from Skaneateles, which is why we were there.”

“Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building...

“We didn't even get to the front door of the"lobby" and were leary. Gave it a shot anyway. The carpeted stairs going to the second floor were stained and smelled like urine. We went inside the room and the bedding had cigarette burns in it. There was hair in the sink and a dead cockroach stuck to the wall. We immediately turned around and left. Do not book here, ever! 1 month later and we are still grossing out from just walking in the front door. Seriously, run far away from this place!”

“Clean rooms, facility and grounds. Staff was very polite and quick to help and resolve any inconvenience I had. The only downside was that the attached restaurant was permanently closed. Over all I enjoyed the experience and would stay again.”

“Right off I-90 so it was very convenient for solo traveler wet a pet companion. The breakfast was available and the waffles were a hit! Property was older, but rooms seemed clean and somewhat updated. I have stayed here every summer for the past several years and this is the best the hotel has looked both inside and outside.”

“Room was not clean and there was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom door and shower. Could not walk barefoot as the floor made our feet dirty! ”

“It is an old motel that has had money put into it but it did not match the ratings shown on the Expedia site. It is located all by itself but it is only about 20 minutes from Skaneatles lake.”

“Had to get clean sheets there was hairs and dirt on the sheets on bed. Room smelled of old cigarette smoke as in years of smoking it would take major renovations/cleaning to eliminate”
