"Upon arrival I was surprised by the offer of an upgraded room on the first floor, what I was not told by the check in clerk was that this room #103, was directly over the exit/entrance to the adjoined pub and would be noisy. Significant noise from the pubs patrons carried on until 3am ( this was a Thursday night, heaven help someone staying on a Friday or Saturday). I had to be up for meeting at 6am. Not a good night.. The check in clerk said he'd have the manager call me. The manager didn't call. Will avoid this hotel in future."

Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites

"We had a suite with a separate bedroom. Everything was pristine the room and the view were magnificent and it’s got a little terrace. You can go out on. Our morning waitress, Emma couldn’t be nicer and we asked for her every day. She gave us great places to shop and was so kind. Our valet Sebastian was fantastic and polite and one of the sweetest people you’ve ever meet. The other valet, Herb, was really terrific in telling us great places to go to that were off the beaten path. One of my favorite services this hotel has is that if a bellhop is not busy, they will take their van and shuttle you to where you want to go in the city for free. We were driven to and picked up from China Chinatown. Everyone in this hotel was very accommodating and I look forward to going back there again in the not too distant future."

"The hotel itself is a beautiful, lovely place. There were so many small details that added to the stay and made it memorable: delicious cookies waiting for me on my bed with a handwritten, personalized note; cheerful, helpful breakfast staff; delicious breakfast; a yummy afternoon snack (tomato basil soup); super soft bath robes; peaceful music playing when I first entered my room; beautiful room decor; bath salts; and more. The bed and pillows were extra comfy and the sheets were extra soft. The staff, though, is what makes it truly, uniquely wonderful!! Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, helpful, and seemed to have a gentle, peaceful personality. It was if I was someone extra special and they genuinely cared about me and my stay. The staff also seemed like they were a tight-knit, little family that worked together and got along with one another. I would definitely stay here again!"
