"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at The Palmetto! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Palmetto! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. The location is perfect — convenient to everything we wanted to see and do — and the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and truly top-notch. What really stood out, though, was the level of service. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the experience they provide. We would absolutely stay at The Palmetto again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. A fantastic hotel, perfect location, and an exceptional team!"

"Lovely hotel with pool, bar & restaurant. Standard rooms with two queens are comfy & suitable, but not massive, so don’t expect extra space. Decor is clean and pleasant & well maintained but I wouldn’t say it’s very modern. The pool area with sun beds is lovely. The hotel have plenty of beach towels which you can also borrow for your day at the beach. If you book including breakfast you get a voucher which entitles each guest to 1 drink and 1 breakfast entree. Any extras you pay for. Breakfast entrees include French toast or pancakes and bacon with biscuits & gravy and other choices - so all very nice and delicious. Cocktails are around $15 each - so you can gage pricing. All staff are pleasant. We had a lovely stay but had to leave a day early as the weather was appalling. Hotel were very flexible with us - with thanks."

"Amazing from start to finish. Ricardo, bellhop/valet was outstanding. Took our car, grabbed our luggage and delivered to the room. spoke with him daily and gave recommendations. upon leaving, he grabbed our car while we were in Starbucks and found us in there. Loaded our stuff while we got our coffee. Concierge helped us navigate. We were able to check in early. Massages were great. We did room service breakfast one morning, fabulous. AWESOME!"

"The staff went above and beyond. They all are true gems. Especially Jacqueline. She’s just amazing helping us with our air con, fan and getting the TV to work. Kind, thoughtful and lovely. Every morning your staff treated us with such grace and happiness. We spent time talking to ilish too who was so lovely. Our meals there were exceptional. We had two dinners there and enjoyed your bar scene! Things that can be improved: The fitted sheet does not fit the bed properly and always came up when we got into bed. The towels could be replaced with new ones. Especially the wash cloths. They look a bit worn. Only one spicket in our bathroom sink worked , the hot water. That should be fixed. In room 5 Maybe some q tips could be left for gusts too in bathroom. But overall our experience especially with your staff was incredible. Everyone went above and beyond. And the Santal 33 was a special touch in the rooms! We will definitely be back. What a glorious stay. Thank you! We felt like one of the family!"
