"We selected this hotel because of the price and location but it could have been better. It was just “meh”. The lobby was nice-ish but beyond that it felt dated and dirty. The pool needed to be cleaned, broken sun lounger was just shoved the corner and other chairs were in disrepair. Rooms and corridors just felt dingy. I’m sure the small windows contributed to this. The mattresses are hard and noisy; toiletries are difficult to pump out of bottles and no lotion provided. Water is scalding hot to the point of burning when warm water is barely turned on. It’s an alright spot To crash near bourbon street but didn’t love it here."

"Older property. Pricey restaurants. Beware the minibar and snack bar have pressure sensors that will charge you if something is removed for more than 30-45 seconds. Don't forget anything in the room because you're not getting it back. Left a nice HydroFlask water bottle there that they couldn't find in plain site to the left of the television. Absolutely no way they could have missed it. I will assume that this is IHG company policy to keep left items and will no longer stay at any IHG brand hotels. Too bad as I spend 30-40 nights a year on the road."

"Overall the location was perfect for all scenic /tourist attractions. The staff were all super accommodating and very friendly. I would come back here without hesitation. Bar /breakfast staff were excellent. Especially Andy(??), aka Kevin hart was very attentive and customer centric. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could use some physical updating."
