โReally lovely hotel, the lady on reception was great- so welcoming and friendly. Room was perfect just for a small get away over night with a lovely restaurant and beer garden. โ
โWe were there for my nephewโs wedding in the Vineyard Hotel close by. It was a super place, very clean, room was excellent, nice big bathroom and quiet all round.โ
โWe found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called.
I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up.
Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. โ
โWe booked a room as part of a wedding party .wedding was at 2pm.
Check in is 4pm which is quite late ,we had to be in the orangery for 4pm so staff managed to check us in 3.40pm .Room was perfect, slept well,breakfast amazing. Food at the wedding of Becky and Mark was incredible. Our first visit here and we will definitely return and use the pool/spa as we didn't get chance to on this occasion.
Check out at 11am is good, no rushing around. Thankyou for a lovely stay โ

โEverything about Mill Lodge was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Special breakfast to die for. Great bed, ensuite, walks on the river and quaint town. You will love staying here.โ
โLovely property with plenty on site parking. Great location in town. Customer service systems for pre-check in and check in are great, but the little bits of human interaction especially at check out felt impersonal (at best), incongruent with the rest of the experience.

โNeeded an overnight stop on my way to Builth Wells and this is conveniently located just off the M4 near Newport. Refurbish a little while ago and the room was clean and had everything you needed ( inc iron / ironing board, hair dryer, kettle etc ). Bed was comfortable, and the room had A/C.Very little noise.
