“Wonderful and relaxing stay at The George Hayfield. We had the family room which was clean and comfortable for a Mum, Dad and x2 teenage girls. Evening meal and breakfast was perfect, good value for money. The two owners (and staff) very friendly and attentive. We’ll be back for sure. ”

“Lovely friendly place to stay ,staff were amazing and couldnt be more helpful.Only downfall was they did not do food ,we had a busy schedule and had to go out very early for breakfast ,no private parking but could park on street at side of property also no lifts so no good to people who are disabled”

“I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included.
My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.”
