Herculaneum.
I found this place 100x better than pompeii (maybe because i'm lazy and there's less walking) but because of the amount that is preserved, it really does give you a feel of what it was like here.
This picture was inside of a church ( i think?) and to imagine that this survived a volcanic eruption!?
Overall it was a great day out, very educational ( I recommend a tour guide or a headset).
Great location, surrounded by places to eat etc. and the train station is roughly 5-10 min walk down a straight road as you leave the station!
