"I was in Galveston to enjoy a quiet Valentine's getaway with my GF, but the trip happened to coincide with Mardi Gras festivities. This 'business' may color my review.
There were screaming kids in the pool at 3am. The whole place has no acoustic isolation, given that it's all concrete and tile. No windows to open for ventilation, so the room was musty, or I had the door open and was living in a fish bowl.
Breakfast was free, well attended, and acceptable, but GFs with special dietary needs...
