Bij de omschrijving was het duidelijk dat er bijvoorbeeld bij het zwembad geluidsoverlast was door het verkeer. Een grote plus voor ons was het zoutwater zwembad en de tuin. “The location deserves the highest praise, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the view was disappointing as it overlooked the spa roof rather than the valley. The shower was excellent, although there was no bathtub. Breakfast was very basic, though this may be intentional to avoid overwhelming choice. “This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. ”

“In Ponta do Sol aus meiner Sicht das beste Hotel. Direkt am Meer, toller Blick auf Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang! Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet, könnte aber qualitativ besser sein (Kaffee, Gebäck, Eierspeisen waren in anderen Hotels besser, Obst dafür sehr vielseitig). Hallenbad direkt neben der Lobby: einerseits positiv wenn man als Familie reist, aber etwas störend im Eingangsbereich. Ich empfand den Preis zu insgesamt hoch für das Hotel, auch wenn wir insgesamt zufrieden waren.”

“Editory is a great hotel. Located outside of Funchal, it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The location has a resort-like setting, and is very quite. We had a room with a balcony, which was nice. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The gym is small, but you can get a decent workout (cardio + free weights). Breakfast was good and had enough selection for most people.”
