“Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. Very roomie but that situation didn’t allow us to sleep and we had put chairs and table by the door not that would have much but...

“Room was wayyyyy too hot (30+ degrees inside) and no way to really cool. Outside was loud and the walls did not block noise at all. The hotel did not offer anything like earplugs or something. Breakfast was of low quality. Only good point is the relative late check out of 12;00.”

“The staffs were amazing, gave us a little gift on our checkout. They were very attentive, kind, and amazing. It was the best hospitality in Madeira (funchal hotels were horrible in comparison). The room was nice and clean, with amazing (at night a little bit scary) view of the ocean and waves. I highly recommend!”

“Beautiful views from virtually everywhere on the property. Great location close to downtown Funchal, but far enough away for the area to feel quiet and calm. Nice restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel staff were excellent! Professional, friendly, and helpful. Received an upgrade at check-in to a fantastic room with an even more amazing private deck overlooking the Atlantic. Buffet breakfast was good. Overall, the property was great, hated to leave.”

“The rooms were clean, and large with large opening windows or balconies to dry your clothes or to let in a breeze. The staff were very nice, friendly and quite helpful. There is exactly enough parking if the hotel is full, as there is two parking lots. Even as the last to come back at the end of the day, we were able to park our mini SUV without issue.
