โVery comfortable room, friendly staff with very good service and good variety of meals with a specials board and carvery. Meals were reasonable and dinner times were busy and you need to reserve a table. Highly recommend it.โ

โOur stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the pub. The pizza was absolutely fabulous and they had cask ale as well as a nice selection of other beers as well. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, granola, pastries and of course the full english breakfast as well. In the room was a french press pot and kettle, fresh ground coffee (regular and decaf) and tea. They also provided a container of milk which stayed cold overnight in an insulated metal thermos and sugar...
โIt is an old hotel (antique in fact giving itโs been operating for 800 years), so no wall are straight, floors are uneven, hallways are narrow, and there is no elevator. But the conditions are ell kept, and the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there againโ
