“Great location, lots of parking, easy to find. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean and the room felt calm and peaceful (although you can hear other guests coming and going). You have use of shared kitchen and lounge which has a partial view of the bay.
The room (Nr 3) was a good size but there was little space within the bathroom for toiletries etc, the sink was small, and a light next to the desk would be useful if I'm being picky!

“Despite how it looks on the outside, this is a very nice hotel. The outside looks rough and needs some attention, but our room was lovely. If you have heavy luggage, be aware that you have to bring it up several stairs to reach the lobby (there is no ramp or lift - the stairs are the only way). “Very disappointing stay.
We booked two rooms through Expedia, and both were musty, unpleasant-smelling, and poorly maintained. One room looked as though it had not been used for a long time.
Fixtures were loose, there were no proper towel hooks, the shower soap dispensers were empty, and there were flying insects in the rooms, including a squashed mosquito left on the wall.
The rooms felt neglected rather than simply old. Definitely not the standard we expected for the price.”
