“Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. ”

This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. “Saubere Zimmer. Minibar gut gefüllt. Pools sind mit Salzwasser befüllt. 4 Poolbereiche wobei viele Liegen schon ab 8 mit Handtüchern belegt werden. Ruhige Gäste, keine Animation. Große Poolbar mit guter Mittagskarte. Essensauswahl im normalen Restaurant relativ klein. Teilweise Schlangen beim Essen und oft an den Bars. Kein Poolservice. Mitarbeiter nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zimmer sehr hellhörig und Matratzen zu weich. Fluglärm vom Airport.”
