โThis place was our (group of 3) favorite during our travels to Hokkaido. It was much cozier than the pictures convey and the sauna was a welcome luxury after skiing and very snowy days. It was majestic to be able to walk to Ukimido Pagoda on a moody weather day, then come back to our cozy lodge. It was so helpful to have a washer/dryer and plenty of drying rack space near the heater. There were many good restaurants just 20 minutes from the lodge near the south side of the lake. We would love to...
โAlthough the price is a bit expensive, it is value for money with the guest service is excellent. The room is spacious with private onsen. The hotel itself is new too. โ
โAlthough this property is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the ski lifts, we were offered a pick up on most mornings and afternoons. Our driver Nao was always extremely punctual, friendly and helpful. He drove us over to East Mountain directly on most mornings. He also picked us up from the shuttle bus on our arrival and dropped us off with our luggage to the bus on our departure. Nao also supplied us with a hot pot one evening which was absolutely delicious!โ
โHide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!โ
โThe house is perfect and clean. Full kitchen amenities. Amazing design and style. The beds are comfortable and we will return again.
Just one minor suggestion : The check out time 10:00 am is too earlyโ
โIt's a log cabin which is unique in nature. There were 2 types of beds which are good for children and adults.
The pool table created a fun time for the familyโ
