โCharming, classy establishment in a quiet safe area that was conveniently located to the event centers
Local transportation is easily accessible
The staff was highly accommodating and friendly
Definitely recommend this New Orleans jewelโ
โThe property was in excellent condition, with all utilities of a high standard.
All communication prior to and after arrival were first class. The check-in procedure was clear and simple and without any problems.
The location was very good for us, reasonably close to the main attractions, with public transport nearby if required. There are also shops nearby for groceries etc if required.
Overall, the apartment contributed greatly to a lovely stay in New Orleansโ
โWonderful! It was one of the best hotels i've been to. Such a lovely building, very well maintained and nicely decorated-- couldn't look for more! Service was great the restaurants and bars were great--โ
โBest hotel I have ever stayed! Staff members were very friendly and hotel rooms were just gorgious. Breakfast was also very delicious. I strongly recommend to stay there.โ
โWhile you are in here, You can feel like being a member of upper class in history. Room was very clean and the other conditions were extremely good. Strongly recommend. โ
โWe loved Creole Gardens! We usually stay at St. Christopher's, but they changed their free parking to paid, so I looked around and found this property. I am so glad that I did. We loved the history of the property and found it absolutely beautiful. They have free parking that is lit and covered by cameras. We were a block away from the streetcar and we felt perfectly safe walking around the area to visit the different restaurants and bars.
In the morning, the ladies made us hot, YUMMY...
โWe stayed at this hotel for our anniversary and to go to a concert. The location was perfect for where we wanted to go and we were able to walk everywhere. Our room was great, the hotel restaurant was great, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing about the room that I have anything negative to say about is the pillows. For an upscale hotel, the pillows were terrible. We felt like we should have brought our pillows from home. Overall, a very nice stay.โ
โI loved my stay at the Fontenot. Staff is exceptional. Cleaning is great. You can tell there's an active effort to maintain the hotel, which is great to see. The hotel is rather lovely and quite charming. The local area however is definitely mixed bag. It's perfectly safe and beautiful during morning and peak sunlight hours. Beyond that, it's just more of a hand toss. Like if you're a lady, it's probably best to avoid solo walks outside at night. Call an Uber to and from the Hotel lobby.โ
"I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The room was cleaned every day, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the person in charge made sure everything was well-managed. However, there were a few issues.
The towels were dirty, with strong disinfectant smell, and some stains didnโt seem to be fully removed. The heater control was dirty, and the hairdryer was old with the handle patched up with tissue, making it hard to use. There was also coffee available, but sometimes there were no coffee cups. On the last day, the drain was clogged with hair, and I had to fix it myself since the water wasnโt draining.
While the service was generally good, these maintenance issues should be addressed for a more comfortable stay."
