"I enjoyed using the heated pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Swimsuit wet bag and dryer/spinner were available in the changing room. It is the small details of service and convenience that makes Hilton a good hotel brand. Breakfast was great. I paid 16 pounds for myself and 2 teens. ( I wonder if it was free for children). Breakfast was buffet style, high standard. You can order fresh orange jucie, waffles, pancakes, poached eggs from the waiters. The room was in good size and clean. One note the smell of bleach is noticeable in the bathroom as well as in the pool area. Although it gave me the confidence of the cleaniness of the area, it is uncommon for me to notice bleach in a hotel."

"Called in advance to request a lower floor; and the receptionist, Annabelle was wonderful: making sure that we got a lower floor room, and just being very welcome. Hotel itself is a little dated decor wise, but is clean. Was very excited to find out the room had a little fridge in it. Perfect for a wee bottle of milk for my tea, and our water bottles. Room was very warm so we slept with a window open: word of warning: it’s very loud well into the early hours: and we were staying on weeknights. I can sleep through anything so was fine: but if you’re a light sleeper: it’s not for you. Perfect location: can access from the railway station. Just along the road from the Life Museum. Short journey to metro centre. And a walk to all main attractions (including the football stadium if you like that sort of thing) There was a room service menu: we didn’t get anything from it: but prices were reasonable. All in all, a good stay, and would stay again"

"Stayed 2 nights in one of the Quadruple Room for 2 nights. There was a double and a bunkbed. The latter I did not use. The two sets of beds took up took up most of the room. There was also a TV, coat hangers and a chair, but no table to work on. The double was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was ensuite and a prefabricated modular design. The bathroom door didn’t close properly due to rust and the handle was also loose. Otherwise it was clean and functional, while shampoo and liquid soap were also provided. The hotel is very close to the city centre. The breakfast was meh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good stay and for the price, it’s hard to complain."
