"Checked in to this hotel and had to check out again. The room and corridor smelt strongly of mould, which was not at all pleasant. Asked reception if there was an alternative room, but informed there were no vacancies. Also tried to get a refund at reception but because I had checked in, they said they do not have authority to refund on site so I'm currently awaiting a response. "

"I felt like I was staying in a budget Blackpool hotel not London. A deep clean wouldn't go a miss, especially in the bedrooms. I dropped something under the bed but darent put my hand under to get it. I only booked this hotel because I wanted hyde park which was 10 minutes away. Bed was comfy. Bathroom very small it was a squeeze round the toilet and sink. I never tried the restaurant. Room cleaned daily"

"I had originally booked a single room aswas travelling for the London Marathon. I contacted the hotel through Expedia, and they told me I could upgrade for an extra payment which we confirmed. When we arrived the reception had no idea what I was talking about and said they were fully booked. I showed the confirmation and we were provided what was described as a compact double room.It was tiny. When we asked for a bigger bed, I was told this would not be possible. I asked for a single matress to be put on the floor, this was also rejected and I had to pay the additional charge regardless. Really disappointed and took the shine off what waa supposed to be a great weekend running the marathon."
