“Very close to airport for quick layover. Fine for that purpose. No bar or restaurant although they did have a few items for sale at front desk”

“Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. “We stayed at Mai Tai Express for one night before a cruise. The hotel is no frills but fit our needs perfectly. Check in was easy, the room was comfortable, and we were a short walk from the ship. There was even a place to have breakfast fight next door. I would definitely recommend it for cruise passengers.”

“We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place.”

“The room was clean, but had many many bugs. Which I did not mind much due to the location on the hotel being more in the forest. The area where the kitchenette is and for outdoor relaxing is covered in dog poop. I found this to be unsanitary.”

“This place is an absolute gem. The views are spectacular and the staff was super friendly. We got in super late so we did not realize that you needed to tell them if you wanted breakfast by 6:30am because they make only what they expect the number of guests to eat for the cute little buffet. We walked down for breakfast hoping they could tell us where we could eat since we missed the cutoff, but instead they found a way to accommodate us for breakfast.
