“Nice hotel, reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in general was a little tired around the edges but it was clean and had soft towels! We were in room 9 with a sea view which was much like the sea view in Fawlty Towers but we weren’t there to specifically stare out of the window… and the tv needed switched on and off at the wall because the power button on the remote doesn’t work. “It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. “Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“The room was lovely and spacious, the staff were amazing, the service in the dining room was excellent. Parking is limited but we were lucky all 3 days. Loved the hotel. The shower needs some edging to catch the water from spreading over the floor (drainage worked fine) We were at the hotel for 3 nights and loved every minute. Thank you”
