โBuilding itself was older and the routing to the room a bit complicated.
Very clean rooms and very friendly personell.
Had water stains on their bathroom ceiling. But no mold so just need a proper paint job. โ
โI've stayed here a few times when I'm working in Portsmouth.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and will give you a quick guided tour of the hotel and all it's amenities, which include the full use of the games room (table tennis, pool, air hockey, pac man, i-pad juke box, board games and large kitchen area).
Parking is in a council car park right next to the hotel. A reduced rate is available from the hotel if you ask.
The rooms are spot on and very comfortable, i think they all have a...
โThere are restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores around, and the hotel staff is very responsive to your needs.
There is no refrigerator in the room, and a clubhouse is nearby. If you want a quiet room, think a little more.โ
โNice comfortable stay. Only had breakfast one morning which was fine. Evening meals looked expensive but if paying for quality itโs probably worth it.โ
โLovely apartment, very clean and spacious for two. Good facilities (though the cutlery is rather basic) and very comfortable. It took us a while to find a car parking space but having the parking permit passed were a godsend.
Great location. โ
โNo ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach.
The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person.โ
โWe stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly.โ
