“The hotel is in a good position in the old town and the rooms are comfortable, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. The lino in the bathroom could do with replacing as it was stained. Cleaning staff and breakfast room staff were good and breakfast was good. Hotel was good value.”

“Very clean and cozy place but if you don’t have a car or a friend who could give you a ride it’s better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden. ”

“My initial impression wasn’t great. The hotel part was really in need of a good lick of paint and a new carpet. That said, it is a very old building so some allowances should be made. The bed in the room was very comfortable with fresh white linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was tiny but modern and clean. The staff was nice and very welcoming of my little dog. The bar is stylishly decorated in keeping with its age but with a modern edge. As a solo traveller I didn’t fancy staying up late...
