"After reading a lot of negative views before we went I was worried what to expect. The cottage was,lovely very spacious and clean. A slight musty smell on entering and one of bathrooms but the place was spotless. Some of the paintwork could do with being refreshed but on the whole we had a lovely stay. The location and views were incredible. The staff at reception very helpful."

"Top floor room was very hot in sunny, humid weather. There was too much emphasis on bar codes and online or self-serve rather than the personal touch. Otherwise, everything about the stay was good and couldn't be criticised for much except very minor issues. I'd happily recommend it."

"We are glad we chose this place as our “castle “ stay. Plenty of parking, attentive staff. One room MacKenzie had great water pressure. The other two did not :( and that is really our only complaint."
