“I stayed 1 night here. really beautiful atmosphere. sunset cruise very nice. However, they claimed 2500 rupees for using jacuzzi with spilling wine. The water in jacuzzi is reused by there own purification system which is uninformed. That one is only disappointment in staying Kumarakom Lake resort. Except for that, the atmosphere, really beautiful. Thank you”

“A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful...

“Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Expedia needs to remove some of the older reviews for this spot as they don't reflect current...
