“Beautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.”
“Needed an overnight stop on my way to Builth Wells and this is conveniently located just off the M4 near Newport. Refurbish a little while ago and the room was clean and had everything you needed ( inc iron / ironing board, hair dryer, kettle etc ). Bed was comfortable, and the room had A/C.Very little noise. “We booked a room as part of a wedding party .wedding was at 2pm.
Check in is 4pm which is quite late ,we had to be in the orangery for 4pm so staff managed to check us in 3.40pm .Room was perfect, slept well,breakfast amazing. Food at the wedding of Becky and Mark was incredible. Our first visit here and we will definitely return and use the pool/spa as we didn't get chance to on this occasion.

“We booked the hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. When we arrived we went to the lounge for tea. I was in awe of the two ladies on the reception/bar. They were probably doing the job of 4 people and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and we had a great couple of nights sleep! If we ever need to stay in the area again I would gladly return.”
