“Das Cottage ist teil einer kleinen Schaffarm. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Cottage ist sehr modern jedoch gemütlich eingerichtet mit jeglichem Komfort wie Wasch und Spülmaschine. Es liegt etwas abseits und der Weg zur Farm ist etwas rau aber wenn man eine ruhige Lage sucht ist man hier goldrichtig. Eine absolute Empfehlung wenn man das wundervolle Cornwall erkunden will und einen gemütlichen ruhigen Rückzugsort zur Erhohlung sucht.”

“Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and enough choice for us, dinner was really nice and good value and the room was clean but just needed a bit of extra attention in the bathroom. But for the price paid and location we were more than happy.”

“Went for a relaxing break in Port Isaac and stayed here in room 5 which had a lovely view of the slipway. Room not very spacious and with only one chair which meant one of us had to sit on the bed but not too much of a problem. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The toilet was practically touching the ensuite door so a visit in the dark in the middle of the night left me with a head injury when I closed the door and went to sit down! I think they heard the bang...

“Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. ”

“This was our favorite place to stay in the UK so far. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast excellent. The pub offered drink and food specials that helped us stay in budget- and were of excellent quality. The location is easily walkable to Port Issac and local walking trails. We highly recommend the Port Gaverne! ”

“Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok. A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. ”

“Do not stay here. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and the owner was incompetent - there was no apparent cause but for around an hour it kept tripping again so eventually I tried (without success) to sleep in my car. The hotel was dirty, no-one was available to help/serve breakfast etc, items such as milk in the kitchen fridge were out of date. It is a very old unmodernised property.”

“Es war wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, sehr schmutzige Teppichböden, kein extra Bett oder Bettdecke für mein Kind, obwohl das Hotel wusste, dass wir zu dritt sind. Das schlimmste waren aber einfach die total schmutzigen Fußböden. Einfach ekelhaft. Wir haben über 200 eur gezahlt. Es ist eine Frechheit. ”
