"Property is lovely. Rooms are large but poorly planned space..bathrooms very large with lots of waste space in the middle…the kitchen could sure use some extra space and is poorly equipped..no stove top or oven. No cabinets to store any food purchases. Wrong sized appliances in our 1 bedroom..a giant electric fry pan, one giant mixing bowl, no serving bowls or platters. Staff is friendly and very helpful. No restaurant on site but has a snack bar. Would be very helpful to have a cart or two in the parking garage for grocery and other purchases."

"Although one of the older resorts on Kannapali, the property was well maintained, the staff was excellent other than the "Concierge", who after booking a catamaran tour for my wife and I, immediately shoved a screen in front of us requesting a large tip for 10 minutes work. It was insulting."

AEI at Maui Kaanapali Villas Resort

"Had a great time staying at Maui Ka'anapali. The room was nice and clean, but it is a small room with TV facing the couch, so no watching TV in bed. We had a nice ocean view and parking was included, with the resort fee.....They do serve coffee and snacks in a lobby area in the morning. No restaurant or gift/snack shop within the hotel. It's a nice beach walk and close to the golf course. The staff are all very pleasant and nice. Good location. They do have a fitness room offsite that's pretty empty but enough equipment."

"Clean room, fully equipped, laundry set with complimentary laundry detergent, ice maker, and spacious. Only thing is the salon restroom could be more equipped for those with late flights, such as lotion, toiletries to use, hair dryers, and a sturdy shower curtain. Mine fell on me a few times while soaking wet."

"Not a bad view, but no direct access to ocean. Has a cliff with rocks. Beach access is further away to the right. Room had ants coming in n out of back sliding door and also small tiny bugs/lice. Which are probably harmless but kinda gross cuz they were even inside the microwave and were resistant to the microwave when on. Overall a good place to stay with two pools and not a bad view, even though we were here during three hurricanes being around, but we were not affected other than big waves and wind/clouds."

"My wife and I are 100% satisfied with everything. The cleanliness, the friendliness and most of all the location. Specifically, the proximity (short walk) to Whalers Village and restaurants. And of course the beach, which is literally right there :) where we sat and watched some pretty amazing sunsets."
