"We had such a wonderful stay at Waimea Plantation Cottages! Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, but we especially want to recognize Sky at the front desk. She was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely hospitable, and she made us feel very well taken care of.
Our cottage was well maintained and very clean. The AC worked beautifully—it stayed nice and crisp inside, and the air smelled fresh, with none of the musty or moldy smell you sometimes encounter in humid climates. We also enjoyed having a full kitchen, which was easy and convenient to cook in.
The only minor suggestions would be to add a wire-mesh strainer to the kitchen sink to keep food debris out of the drain and possibly replace or repair the microwave, since it didn’t heat very well. These were small inconveniences and didn’t take away from our overall experience.
We had a great time and would happily stay here again. The cottages are charming and comfortable, but the wonderful hospitality is what really made our visit special."
