โLovely country pub, great pub, lovely staff, nice quality complimentary toiletries, decent coffee machine in the room.
Great value, nice food. Very good indeed.

โLovely location, had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent, breakfast could not be faulted, great taste and quality.
Would definitely stay again. โ
โThe George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:
- Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. This did not bother us. The...
โBy sheer chance we ended up at the Three Cups - and it is a delightful family run traditional (as in 500 years old traditional) coaching inn. The food was fantastic, both at dinner time and breakfast. Very personal attention paid to everything. Beautiful gardens, with streams running through. The village is spectacular, with wonderful little shops, as well as the trout streams running right through. โ
โGreat location to explore the New Forrest and the Dorset Coast.
Easy acess to the M27 and M3 back to London.
Makes the return journey easier (until.you hit the M25 of course!)โ
โWhite Star is an excellent small hotel right in the middle of town with lots of options nearby. The rooms are small but extremely comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and amazing lunch and dinner options.โ
โWe enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.โ
โThe property was breathtaking! The staff truly were amazing and their eye for detail was impeccable. We absolutely would recommend Rhinefield House Hotel and we will most certainly be returning.โ
โVery comfortable stay in a well presented property, lovely decoration, great bed and very nice restaurant which accommodated us for a late dinner!
Highly recommend this property.โ
โI was literally 6 minutes away from the cathedral and the main shopping. The hotel was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent as was the staff. I wish I had had time to use the enormous tub!โ
โMy stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.โ
โWe had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive.โ
